Dynamic currency conversion (DCC) on the ATM allows you to view the exact amount of your Visa or MasterCard transaction in the currency of your country. Currency conversion is real-time based on identification of your currency

The converted transaction amount is displayed during cash withdrawal in real time. Dynamic Currency Conversion ATM fee is 5% of the total transction (min P5.00 and max P200.00)

    Benefits of dynamic currency conversion
    • Allows you to get cash from a local ATM at an exchange rate to be displayed and agreed before you authorise the cash withdrawal
    • The DCC functionality on the ATM is available to any Visa or MasterCard cardholder and is not limited to Absa account holders only
    • Your currency is identified at withdrawal stage and currency rates are presented in both your currency and original currency that is being withdrawn
    • You have a comprehensive view of your spend/withdrawals due to the availability of your currency pricing on the ATM
