How to register (new user)
Download Absa Botswana Mobile App via Google Play store or Apple store

Open the App on your device

Click register

Enter your details and click next

Enter bank details and click next

Customer receives OTP via SMS

Enter OTP

Create an online banking username

Create an online banking password

You will see a confirmation screen and are now registered.
How to buy airtime
Open the Absa Botswana Mobile App on your device

Log in

Select 3 lines at the top left of the screen

Select Manage Recipients

Select Add new recipient

Select Buy Airtime

Select Network operator (Mascom/Orange/Bemobile)

Input cell number and recipient nickname

Review and save recipient
How to pay for DSTV
Open the Absa Botswana Mobile App on your device

Log in

Select the 3 lines at the top left of the screen

Select Manage Recipients

Select Add new recipient

Select Bill Payment

Select Television Subscription as bill type

Select Multichoice - DSTV

Enter smart card number and recipient nickname

Select next

Select save

Enter and confirm OTP

You will see a confirmation screen
How to buy electricity
Open the Absa Botswana Mobile App on your device

Log in

Select the 3 lines at the top left of the screen

Select Manage Recipients

Select Add new recipient

Select Bill Payment

Select Electricity as bill type

Select Prepaid 1 or 2 (Any of your choice)

Enter meter number and recipient nickname

Select next

Select save

You will see a confirmation screen
How to do an Absa to Absa transfer
Open the Absa Botswana Mobile App on your device

Log in

Select the 3 lines at the top left of the screen

Select Manage Recipients

Select Add new recipient

Select Domestic Absa Account

Enter branch name, account number, account holders name and recipient nickname

Select next

Review and save

Enter OTP and comfirm

You will see a confirmation screen
How to do an Absa to wallet transfer
Open the Absa Botswana Mobile App on your device

Log in

Select 'Mobile Wallet' icon at the bottom of the screen

Select for myself or for someone new

In the case of someone new, enter the mobile number, wallet type, amount, account to be debited and select whether you want to save as a beneficiary or not.

Click next

Confirm wallet transaction

Enter OTP you received via SMS

You will see a confirmation screen
